Inspections App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information when you use this app and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Data collected by our App

The Inspections App allows users to:

• Login with your TTM username and password (stored securely and encrypted on TTM's servers, sent via SSL/TLS).
• Enter a Vehicle Registration, and select a Fleet and Operating Centre for the vehicle if needed and it hasn't automatically found them.
• Enter details on the Tyre Information as part of the Inspection.
• Upload the Inspection to the TTM servers (stored securely and encrypted on TTM's servers, sent via SSL/TLS). The Inspection is then removed from the App.

Direct Personal Data

We do not collect any personal information from you. You are not required to share any direct personal data (including name, image, or contact details such as address, email, and telephone number) in order for this app to function.

Indirect Personal Data

This app is a vehicle inspections app, and it is necessary to share number plate details so that the data uploaded regarding the inspection can be connected to the correct vehicle. A number plate could in theory be combined with third party data such as job timesheets, employee lists and publicly available vehicle ownership records to identify an individual using this app.

Interpretation and Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to RWD, 60 Thorpe Road, Norwich.
• Country refers to: United Kingdom
• Device means any device that can access the service such as a computer, a mobile phone or a digital tablet.
• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Service refers to the Application.
• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using our service, we do not ask you to provide us with any direct personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. The data we collect is as follows:

• User Id (Username)
  • Purely for App functionality & authentication.
• Crash Data, App Performance, Other Diagnostics
  • Purely analytical (no "personal" data). This data is automatically collected by Google as part of having the App on their Play Store.
• Device or Other IDs
  • As above, Google captures the device used (model, Operating system/Android version, etc) as part of the App being on the store in relation to the above - this is not personally identifiable data as such and is the same for every app on the Play Store. If you use any app, you are sharing this information with Google.

Retention of Your Data

The Company will retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a short period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Transfer of Your Data

Your information is processed at the company's operating offices and in no other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This information will not be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction.

Security

The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. All data is encrypted in transit via SSL.

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Other legal requirements

The company will only disclose your personal data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Children's Privacy

Children do not drive and do not undertake vehicle inspections. Our service is not intended for children.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
